Q : How many people maximum can be accepted per accommodation?
A: For safety and insurance reasons, the maximum number of people allowed in the mobile homes must not be exceeded. The maximum capacity of our pitches and mobile homes is 6 people.
When booking you must mention the full names and birth dates of all occupants (including baby). If you have omitted to mention a person, please contact us at 02.51.58.16.04.
Q : Is a baby considered a person?
A: A baby is indeed considered as a person in its own right.
Q : How many vehicles are allowed per reservation? Where to park?
A: Only one vehicle is allowed per location.
You have the possibility to park the second vehicle in the campsite's parking lot.
Q : What is the tourist tax?
A: The tourist tax is collected on behalf of the municipalities and can be increased by an additional departmental tax. The tourist tax per day and per person over 18 years old is 0.65 cents.
Q : How do I cancel a reservation?
A: If you have not taken out cancellation insurance, please contact us on 02.51.58.16.04
Q : Are pets accepted?
A: We accept cats and dogs (except categories 1 and 2). The maximum weight of your pet should not exceed 10 kilos. The dog must be kept on a leash on the campsite. No dog should be left alone in the accommodation. Authorized animals must be tattooed or chipped. You will need to bring your updated vaccination certificate and pay a supplement.

Q : How to pay for your stay?
A: You have the possibility to pay for your stay by credit card, bank check, bank transfer, ANCV holiday check.
Q : How do I proceed for payment by credit card, cheque or bank transfer?
A: If you have chosen to pay by credit card, you can contact us on 02.51.58.16.04 and we will take the payment by phone directly.

Payment of the balance
Q : When do you have to pay the balance of your reservation?
A: We must receive payment of the balance of your stay at the latest 4 weeks before the beginning of the stay.
Q : How can I pay my balance?
A: If you have made your reservation online: you will receive an email 1 month before your arrival telling you to pay your balance, you can choose the payment option of your choice.
If you have made your reservation by phone or email, you can pay your balance by credit card (by contacting us on 02.51.58.16.04), by cheque or by bank transfer.
Q : Do you accept holiday vouchers?
A: Yes, we accept holiday vouchers. They should be sent to us by post, preferably by registered mail.
Q : Are you VACAF certified?
A: Yes, the campsite is VACAF certified. To make a reservation with VACAF assistance, please contact us on 02.51.58.16.04 with your tenant number and contact details.
Arrival and departure times
Q : What are the arrival and departure times?
A: Arrival and departure times vary according to the period and the type of accommodation.
In low season
For mobile homes: arrival from 11am and departure until 4pm for short stays // from 2pm and until 10am for weekly stays and long stays
For pitches: from 12pm to 12pm.

Q : What if you arrive outside the indicated times?
A: In case of late arrival, you must contact us before your arrival. We will explain how the campsite works beforehand and where the keys will be left for your arrival.
Q : Why is a deposit required?
A: A deposit per mobile home will be required upon arrival or to be sent with your contract. The amount is 250 € for any damage and 50 € for any cleaning. The deposit will be returned to you the week following your departure after an inventory of fixtures in the presence of the person in charge. If the cleaning has not been done, the deposit cheque of 50 € will be cashed.
Q : Is Wifi present in the campsite?
A: Wifi is present in full coverage on the campsite. A fixed price of 2 €/day - 10€/week -17€/week will be requested if you wish to access it. You can see this on arrival or at any time during your stay at the reception desk
Q : What are the activities offered on a campsite? When do they start?
A: The schedule for a week of entertainment in July and August is available on our website, in the section www.campingprairie.com/campsite-france-vendee-entertainment. The entertainment is effective during the high season, in July and August.
Q : Is the Children's Club paid for? When is it effective?
A: The children's club is free of charge but some activities require prior registration. Registration can be done as soon as you arrive at the campsite, after the welcome drink on Sunday.

Q : Are swimming shorts allowed in swimming pools? Are the cups mandatory?
A: Access to the pool is reserved for people in swimsuits, one-piece or two-piece swimsuits, to the exclusion of any other clothing. Bathing caps are not mandatory.
Q : What are the times of the access barriers?
A: The Barriers are open from 7am to 11pm.
The campsite is accessible thanks to the magnetic card that would have been provided to you when you checked in at the reception desk. If you arrive after the gates close, we ask you to park your vehicle in the visitor parking lot at the campsite entrance and walk to your pitch. As a reminder:
The speed within the premises is limited to 10km/h and traffic is strictly prohibited between 11pm & 7am, for the safety & respect of everyone's sleep.
Location of the campsite
Q : Is there a bus to go to town?
A: In July and August, the Navette du Littoral serves St-Jean-de-Monts and St-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie. It stops at the La Prairie stop, located at the entrance to the campsite.
Q : Where is the beach?
A: The campsite is located on the edge of the forest and the beach is on the other side of the forest. You can cross it by a path with an access code (available at the reception desk or in the welcome booklet). The beach is therefore accessible on foot (about 15-20min), by bicycle paths or by car (about 3 min, free parking at the entrance).
The mobile home and its location
Q : Is it possible to install a tent next to the mobile home or on a pitch?
A: For security and insurance reasons, it is not possible to set up a tent on the site.
On the other hand, you can rent a bare pitch to set up a tent.
Q : Is it possible to choose a specific location?
A: Depending on availability, you can choose a specific location. This must be confirmed at the time of booking, preferably by phone. Depending on your request, we will assign you a mobile home as close as possible to your wishes.
Q : Is it possible to book two mobile homes side by side?
A: Depending on availability, you can book two mobile homes side by side. This must be confirmed at the time of booking, preferably by phone.
Are sheets, duvets...are they provided?
Q : Are the beds equipped with duvets and pillows?
A: Pillows and duvets are provided in all our accommodations.
Q : Are sheets and towels provided?
A: Bathroom and bed linen are not provided. However, you have the possibility to rent sheets from the campsite when you make your reservation. The rate for a small bed is 10 €/stay and the rate for a large bed is 12 €/stay.
Q : Does your accommodation have a television?
A: Television is included in all our mobile homes. There is no additional cost.
Q : Is your accommodation equipped with air conditioning?
A: None of our accommodations are equipped with air conditioning.
Q : Can I rent a baby kit?
A: We offer various baby equipment for rent separately or in kit form (chair, bed, bathtub).
As stock is limited, it will be preferable to book it before your arrival, when you make your reservation.
For hygiene reasons, sheets & blankets are not provided for the cot.
We also provide you with a free baby room in the sanitary facilities. For cleanliness reasons, it is locked. If you wish to use it, ask for the keys at the reception desk.
Q : Is it possible to install a barbecue on a site?
A: Barbecues are not allowed on the pitches. You have at your disposal 5 free charcoal barbecues on the campsite.
Q : Can I leave early in the morning?
A: Yes. You can leave before the reception opens. Attention... for the respect of the sleep of our holidaymakers, the gates only open from 7am. If you wish to leave at dawn, we invite you to leave your vehicle in the outdoor car park and go there in peace and quiet on foot.
However, you must notify the reception in advance so that we can give you the information you need to organise your departure.
We remind you that you are responsible for your rental and that the inventory of fixtures will therefore be made without your presence.
The rental must be returned in a perfectly clean condition. Otherwise, we will be obliged to maintain your household deposit.
