-Feel like going for it? The many quad and karting clubs in Saint Jean de Monts guarantee extreme thrills for all levels! Whether you’re on a quad, a jet-ski, a kart or a buggy, young and old alike will be D-E-C-H-A-I-N-E-R! On your marks, get set, go!
-Feel like pedaling? Mountain bikes available for hire at the campsite reception! Come and see us. -Feel like galloping? Just a stone’s throw from the campsite, Nelly’s Ranch welcomes you to an idyllic setting! On the beach or in the forest, whether you’re an experienced rider or a beginner, horseback riding will have no secrets for you! From 15-minute to full-day rides, there’s something for everyone, so saddle up!
Museums-local heritage :
-Does La Mie Câline ring a bell? The adventure began in 1957 in Saint Jean de Monts with a simple bakery, and a few years later became an internationally renowned company!
-Come and find out more about this fabulous family history at the only production site in the La Mie Câline store network. During a guided tour of almost an hour and a half, La Mie Câline staff will show you how the Vendée brioche is made, and explain the company’s franchise concept.
-A tasting session is scheduled at the end of the tour. Get your taste buds ready!
Need to get away from it all? The forest of Saint Jean de Monts lies between the town and the part of the town that runs alongside the sea, offering almost 800 hectares of potential walks.
-Between holm oaks, arbutus, maples and maritime pines, you’ll feel completely free. This rich environment is home to a wealth of wildlife, including squirrels, foxes, jays, the occasional bird of prey or roe deer, as well as a number of market garden animals, such as herons.
-On foot or by bike, get away from it all and visit the many sites nestled in the heart of this wonderful natural setting: Le Bélvédère (300m from the campsite), la Héronnière, le Sentier des Ecureuils and much more….
