Rental for people with reduced mobility in St Jean de Monts
Camping for all
Camping la Prairie ****à Saint Jean de Monts pays particular attention to people with reduced mobility. We integrate the notion of accessibility into our thinking and develop our projects accordingly. From now on, we’ll be offering fully adapted PRM accommodation for rent. Users find it well-equipped, comfortable and practical, and they love its covered terrace with access ramp.

Accessible camping in Vendée
The site is flat, making it easy to move around the entire campsite. As for parking, a space is reserved at the edge of the parking lot, then it’s easy to get to reception.
Access to reception and snack bar
There are no steps to enter the reception area, which has recently been completely renovated. A lowered counter has been added for easy access. The snack bar is also easily accessible via a ramp. Windows and picture windows have been fitted with markings to enable the visually impaired to see them.
The snack-bar toilets are also adapted.
Our PMR-accessible accommodation
In 2022, a new accommodation will join our rental fleet: a 30m², 2-bedroom mobile home for people with disabilities or reduced mobility. This mobile home, perfectly designed for people with reduced mobility, will welcome people with disabilities and their families, or groups who like spacious, practical mobile homes!
PMR washrooms
As the campsite is flat, access to the PMR sanitary block is easy. You’ll find :
Adapted shower
Adapted toilet
Adapted sink
Our 2 washing machines are accessible and comply with standards (machine height, front loading, etc.).

Swimming pools
The 2 pools in our aquatic area are accessible and the slopes comply with current standards. The foot bath is also accessible. The sanitary facilities in the indoor pool are also accessible.
Raising team awareness of how to welcome people with disabilities
Our teams, whether permanent or seasonal, are trained to welcome people with disabilities (motor, visual, hearing or psychological). We provide our employees with a welcome guide and train them to deal with this group. Our team has mastered the communication processes needed to communicate effectively with our customers: rephrasing, patience, listening, assistance in moving around… and, above all, kindness and respect.
